Sandy Queen officiated my Ceremony
Sandy Queen was the officiant at my wedding ceremony on March 14, 2015 (Pi day!) and I am the owner of Weddings by Sandy. Our day was perfect because the ceremony was the focus of our big day. The words I selected and wrote were enhanced by her professional support and execution. She did everything exactly as if I read the ceremony myself (but of course that was not possible; and I wouldn’t have wanted that!) Sandy is a professional officiant, the only kind of officiant you should have at your ceremony (unless you are getting married in a church, synagogue or mosque.) My husband, Tim and I are so happy. Before the ceremony, she helped him feel comfortable, getting him past his fear, confusion and anxiety and reassuring me all would be exactly as I wanted. We chose several rituals one of which was the water ceremony, it was just lovely and felt right for us.
I love Sandy’s calm demeanor and appreciate that she was early to the ceremony venue (in fact she beat me there!) Just so you know these are also my qualities when it comes to a couples’ wedding day. I hope your officiant has exactly these qualities, because that is what a professional officiant does. Thank you Sandy Queen!
I also want to recognize a few vendors that made our day very special as well. Savory Spoon Catering provided the food (you have to try their bacon wrapped dates!). Melissa Popple of Candlelight Floral Design created my bouquet and Tim’s boutonniere which were just stunning. Our cake and cupcakes were provided by Michelle Hale of the Networking Bride. Our Ceremony music was provided by Robin Fay Massie-Pighee, violinist and her piano playing friend Tom; Tim loved the special surprise.
Thank you all and a special thank you to Percy Pachanco for the use of his lovely home, my granddaughter Deandra Zehner for singing after dinner and to my dear friend Marilyn Opitz for making my hair into the vision I had for it. Our day was perfect and I wouldn’t have asked for anything more.
